We've been meeting most Saturdays for a few years. The group started because Jerry wanted a consistent place to play the kinds of games he loves — ones that reward thinking, planning, and occasionally a bit of negotiation — with people who share that interest. Las Cruces turned out to have a lot of those people.
The whole group sits down to play the same game together. The vibe is friendly and low-pressure. Nobody's going to make you feel bad for a bad move, and we're happy to teach. But we do take the games seriously — if you're not engaged, you'll feel it.
We meet at a dedicated game room in an estate home in the Picacho Mountain subdivision. It's a good space for this kind of game.
These are the games we return to. You don't need to know all of them — we teach — but knowing a few helps set expectations.
The grand epic of board gaming. Galactic empires competing for control of the galaxy. Sessions run all day and every one is a story.
Westeros politics and warfare. Alliances form and break, and trust is always a liability.
One of the greatest strategy games ever designed. Guide your civilization from antiquity to the modern era through cards and careful planning.
Deck-building and worker placement in the Dune universe. Rich theme, tight decisions, and real tension at the table.
A sweeping World War II strategy game played across a massive map. Demands coordination, planning, and nerve.
Build a civilization from a single settlement through exploration, city development, and cultural advances.
Medieval conflict with heavy emphasis on politics and faction maneuvering. A group favorite.
Cooperative investigation in Lovecraftian New England. Deck-building meets narrative-driven horror.
We'll review your application and reach out to schedule a quick call. If it's a good fit on both sides, we'll invite you to a trial session.
